Butchery Museum

The privately run butchery museum, located in the oldest half-timbered house in Horn-Bad Meinberg, houses a special treasure. Here the visitor is vividly shown the theme of the butcher's shop and house slaughter using original pieces and tools. Heinrich Thies, 86 years old, has an enormous store of detailed knowledge for the visitor. Until 1972 the butcher's shop belonged to the everyday life of the Horn-Bad Meinberger.

Groups are welcome to book guided tours of the butchery museum at Heinrich Thies, Nordstr. 9, 32805 Horn-Bad Meinberg, Tel.: 05234 204932.
