Outpatient bath cure

With its local remedies water and carbon dioxide as well as moor the Staatsbad Meinberg has been for centuries an excellent destination for outpatient (open) spa treatment.

The special effect of the Bad Meinberger healing water already recognized Simon August von Lippe in the 18th century, who delegated it to his personal physician Dr. med. Johann Erhard Trample, to prepare a report of the thermal springs. He came to the realization that the healing waters were of "a exquisitely force". Due to the high calcium concentration, it is ideal for alimentary calcium deficiency, for the supportive treatment of Ostheoporose, allergic diseases and urinary tract infections. Rich in dissolved minerals and a bath in the bathroom Meinberger thermal water acts as a stimulant for the circulatory and relaxing for the muscles.

The in the historic spa park Bad Meinberg to admiring Mofette (deep drilling) opens Europe's largest carbon dioxide deposits. Indispensable for the life-giving carbon cycle, carbon dioxide also affects digestion, stimulates the circulation and has antibacterial properties to a certain degree. Dissolved in medicinal waters, it supports its action.

The effect of moor and humic acids contained in it is already evident for many centuries. It reduces inflammation, reduces the growth of bacteria on the skin, stimulates the blood circulation and metabolism, and relieves pain. Indications for mud applications include arthritis, rheumatism and osteoporosis.

Please note that no mud and bubble baths can be offered. You can find an overview of our other moor-applications here.
